We’re convinced every single man, woman, child (‘xcept us!) that comes our way (to Gulf Shores Al-la-BAM-ma!) on vacation owns a cell phone and has access to all kinds of info 24/7 on the “Google Machine” — as some old folks — like us — like to say. It is a great tool, like the telephone. But maybe, just maybe, in some cases “too much of a good thing is worse than some things.”
Try as we might, we’ve yet to be able to successfully update every single listing/social media post/profile with the latest/freshest BeachnRiver Kayak Rentals info possible. We “get” that it can be aggravating to continually come across dated material when you, our valued potential guest, are one (busy) person charged with the (not- so- simple) task of vacation planning.
So, considering that we’d rather you not get frustrated in your attempts to “find” us, we decided to stuff all the info you absolutely need to know to get on the water during the 2020 Summer Season between March 17, 2020 and Sunday, Aug. 15, 2020 onto one page entitled: “At a Glance For Cell Phone Users” https://beachnriverkayakrentals.com/to-kayak-with-beachnriver-kayak-rentals/ — hoping it will meet the needs of at least 99.9% of the population.
The page includes: DAYS/HOURS/MONTHS OF OPERATION; RATES (weight recommendations), LAUNCH TIMES — with links to other important things to know like our specific “Rules,” “Suggestions of Things to Bring” and “Frequently Asked Questions ” — everything you’d probably need to know to come enjoy an afternoon paddling the water from BeachnRiver Kayak Rentals. And if you need a “reminder” of what a “character” River Rick is, just phone and listen to his voicemail message — “ifn” you see fit to. But you’ll be directed to this website: https://beachnriverkayakrentals.com where, if I was inclined to, I’d bet has more info about kayaking the river than any other local kayak rental/ outfitter around.
If you’re in the mood to read/explore/learn/look at pretty pictures of the water, check out this blog post written June 30, 2017 https://kayakgulfshoresalwithbeachnriver.blogspot.com/ In it River Rick challenges one to “Ask yourself: “If you lost your cell phone and your photo albums were destroyed, what are your most treasured memories about your previous vacations?”
Which leads to my final point about the new “page” on this website: while we’re in the business of trying to create 5-star vacation memories for guests, I guess it wouldn’t hurt none to wish also for some (more) 5-star customers?
